New images of suspect vehicle released in Georgetown homicide

First Published:

Halton police have released two new images of a vehicle they are trying to identify in connection with the 2019 murder of Ryan Lorde.

Lorde was found suffering from gunshot wounds outside a home in the area of Monarch Dr. and Niagara Trail in Georgetown on Oct. 29, 2019.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified a vehicle they believe may be linked to Lorde’s murder.

It is described as a black, four-door, 2007 to 2009 Toyota Camry or similar model.

Detectives say they are “exploring the possibility” that the vehicle may have been rented, loaned, stolen, or sold between October and November of 2019.

Anyone with information that could help police is asked to contact Det. Cst. Quince Buchanan at 905-465-8768 or the homicide tip line at 905-825-4776.
