New GO Bus route from Waterloo to Hamilton launches in April: Metrolinx

Metrolinx has announced a new route from Waterloo to Hamilton, among other GO Bus service changes.

Starting on April 8, GO Transit is releasing a new weekday service from Waterloo to Hamilton via Kitchener and Guelph.

Metrolinx says the new GO Bus Route 17 will decrease current travel times between Hamilton and Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph by over an hour in each direction.

The bus will run hourly in both directions, reaching the GO Train stations, including ION LRT and four universities – Waterloo, Laurier, Guelph and McMaster.

Several other bus services will also be adjusted on April 8. Customers are encouraged to check gotransit.com for more information.
