Mumford and Sons hit Simcoe

After much anticipation, Mumford and Sons finally play in Simcoe tonight as part of their “Gentlemen of the Road” tour.

Simcoe is the only Canadian stop on the tour. The Grammy-winning band chose eleven bands to join them for the festival at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds.

More than 35,000 people have arrived in Simcoe for the two-day music festival. The band’s stopover is expected to pump as much as $10 million into Norfolk County’s economy.

Mumford and Sons are set to start playing at 8:30 tonight.
