Mumford and Sons hit Simcoe

After much anticipation, Mumford and Sons finally play in Simcoe tonight as part of their “Gentlemen of the Road” tour.

Simcoe is the only Canadian stop on the tour. The Grammy-winning band chose eleven bands to join them for the festival at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds.

More than 35,000 people have arrived in Simcoe for the two-day music festival. The band’s stopover is expected to pump as much as $10 million into Norfolk County’s economy.

Mumford and Sons are set to start playing at 8:30 tonight.

  1. Simcoe is the only Canadian stop on the tour.

How do you make this statement, as I really enjoyed their Concert at Holland Park in Surrey, BC CANADA

  2. It was an epic event here in Simcoe. Norfolk County Fairgrounds as well as the Downtown & the surrounding County represented Canada extremely well to these bands & visitors alike. Their only Canadian Stopover in Simcoe Ontario will hopefully be fondly remembered by all for years to come.
