What happens within the city at Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority

Emily Vukovic has the opportunity to learn about all the different things that happen at the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority, which is like a mini city inside the city.

First she had the chance to head out on the water and get a different perspective of the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority.

Then a visit to the Paling Transporter showed her why the port was such a good location for their business.

Ontario Shipyards is the largest shipbuilding/ship repair company on the great lakes, and Emily got to chance to see what makes it so unique.

On one of her adventures, she was able to watch how grain was handled and milled into flour.

Then she got a firsthand look at why bees are incredibly important to our ecosystem when she joined Humble Bee to find out what they’re doing to improve their population locally right here at the port. While there she also got to try all their different types of honey.

Lastly, she handled found out where all of the massive installations go after they were tested.
