Watch for 4.5c jump at the pumps

You may want to top up your gas tank.

The price at the pump is expected to jump as much as 4.5 cents at midnight. It comes after a three cent jump last week, bringing the per litre price close to $1.40, depending on where you live.

Prices have been slowly but steadily creeping back up since they bottomed out back at Christmas around $1.16 a litre. But a jump of more than four cents is a shock indeed.
