HAPPENING NOW:

The NuDeal program

So many students find themselves struggling through high school, but a local program is giving them some interesting options for their futures.

NuDeal runs two terms each year (17 weeks), and through a partnership with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board is able to offer 12-18 students per term the opportunity to learn how to silk screen, develop designs, create marketing plans, etc. In addition to credit opportunities they also have the chance to earn money, showcase their work in galleries, gain experience printing for clients, and learn entrepreneurial skills.

Coordinator Victoria Alstein and graduate, Arielle Chisholme stopped by Morning Live to show and tell us more about the “NuDeal” program at Centre Three.
