They are potentially dangerous drugs.

Yet some people take them on a daily basis, especially sufferers of chronic pain. And very few of us even consider the potential risks.

Age is a key factor when it comes to stomach bleeds. Dr Paul Moayyedi says anyone over the age of 60 taking daily doses of non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, should talk with their physician about their risk of gastrointestinal problems.
