It is so important to remember and preserve the stories of the men and women who served in Canada’s wars, particularly the Second World War. Sylvia Morgan was a student nurse at Middlesex Hospital in London, England when the war broke out in Europe in 1939. Sylvia saw a lot of things she remembers to this day – 84 years later – including the horrors of war and when she saw a Lancaster Bomber shot down.
