Maple Group market move nearly complete.
The board of directors for T-M-X Group, the parent company of the Toronto and Montreal exchanges, has decided to accept a $3.8-billion takeover bid offered in the summer by the Maple Group consortium of financial firms and pension funds.
T-M-X Group chair Wayne Fox says the board believes the Maple offer for T-M-X is in the best interests of the company and its shareholders.
He’s advising shareholders to take it.
