A man from London, Ontario is one of just five people in Ontario using a state of the art robotic arm called Jaco. 29-year old Dan Harvey has had quadriplegia since he was 17 and broke his spine in a trampoline accident. Since purchasing a robotic arm last year, he’s recovered a world of independence. Mr. Harvey’s arms have limited mobility, his hands have next to none, but the little dexterity he does have is enough to manipulate Jaco’s fingers into doing everyday tasks most of us take for granted.
