Nintendo posts losses

Nintendo is predicting its first annual loss in 30 years.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the company lost $923 million in the first half of its fiscal year, ending September 30th.

That’s twice the amount Nintendo had expected to lose.

They blame the poor figures on slow Wii sales and the global economy.

The console-maker expects a better second half, but still reportedly plans to be more than $250 million in the red when the fiscal year ends next March.
