New children’s book helps to understand the importance of nature

We are closing in on a special time of year for Jefferson salamanders, as the endangered species are getting ready to move to their breeding ponds in wetlands around the Golden Horseshoe. Artist and children’s author Sherry Hayes wants to make sure more kids know how important these creatures are, so she wrote two books that are the beginning of a new series entitled Saving Wild Canada.
