Music, food, fashion and art take over Hamilton’s James St. N for Supercrawl 2023

Supercrawl is taking over Hamilton James St. N. in Hamilton this weekend. Director Tim Potocic joined us with all the details on the annual street festival. This year’s headliners include Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida, BADBADNOTGOOD, Broken Social Scene and more, while Born in the 80’s will keep the party going every night. T here’s also a ton of art, fashion and spectacle to take in.

But with Supercrawl also comes major road closures in downtown Hamilton. As of this morning James St. N. is closed from King to Strachan. At 7:00 tonight the city will also shut down York between Bay and Hughson Streets. Both sections will be closed until 5 am Monday.
