New research appears to show that having Multiple Sclerosis doesn’t mean you can’t have a healthy baby.

A new study from the University of British Columbia finds women with multiple sclerosis have pregnancy outcomes similar to women without the disease.

A comparison of data for 432 women with multiple sclerosis to 2,975 women without the disease found there were no additional risks associated with MS in terms of how the delivery went or the condition of the baby.

Currently, MS doesn’t have a cure.

It can cause a loss of balance, impaired speech, fatigue, double vision and paralysis.
