Memory and health issues
Little things, like skin problems or even how dentures fit, may affect the risk for memory and thinking problems for seniors.
A new Canadian study looked at factors not traditionally thought of as dementia risks like vision, hearing, broken bones and oral health.
It found that after 10 years, each of those factors increased a person’s odds of developing dementia by more than 3%.
Researchers say this may highlight a need to keep up with your overall health to help protect against dementia.
