Lake of Bays brews up craft beer in cottage country

Heading north to a cottage or a trip? Why not hit up Lake of Bays Brewing Co.

Louie Butko was up north and toured their three different locations to see what is brewing at each spot.

Their brewing is done at the Baysville Taproom & Retail Store right on Hwy 117. The taproom has plenty of cold beers, as well as a patio that has music on the weekends. It’s a great place to stop off for a cold beer and food on your way to the cottage or a night out.

There is also a retail store at the Bracebridge Barrelhouse. All the take home beer is available there, but you can also stop into their dining area, main bar and upstairs mezzanine to eat and drink. Along with food, there is also trivia nights, live music and BINGO. And if you are looking for a space to host a private event, this is the space.

Lake of Bays Brewing third spot in in Huntsville, which offers one of the best patios in the area. It is downtown Huntsville’s first brewhouse, and they do small batch brewing out of there. The Huntsville Brewhouse offers brunch, lunch and dinner and of course beer.

All three of these spots are a great place to stop in depending what town you are going through.
