Japan cancer substance
A team of Japanese scientists has announced a new development in cancer research.
They’ve created artificial amino acids that can penetrate tumor cells without damaging healthy cells.
The amino acids have been tested on cancer cells in liver and white blood cells.
Scientists also combined them with anti-cancer agents which shrank tumor sizes by about 50%.
The discovery could prove useful for developing drugs with no side effects.
