How wildfire smoke affects respiratory health

During the pandemic, Dawn Bowdish co-led Canada’s largest study of COVID-19 infections in older adults, helping shape Ontario’s vaccination policies.

She’s also a passionate advocate for lung health, vaccination and bringing science into the community, especially during the wildfire season.

Dawn is the executive director of the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health at McMaster University, and she sat down with Simone to talk about her work at McMaster University.
