How to spice up your space this winter

The pandemic made working from home a norm. Alcorn says 48 per cent of Canadians don’t have a designated work space at home.

In response to this statistic, Staples Canada made the month of February their Great Home Office Upgrade event which helps people refresh their workspace.

“For every $400 spent, you get $100 back in a gift card,” said Alcorn.

To spice up your home workspace, Acorn recommends rotating accessories. She says to take accessories from different rooms and move them to other rooms once in a while to make the space feel new.

She then recommends bringing in an accent colour to a room. This will give the room a whole new facelift to the space.

“It’s just about finding new things to have fun with and introduce some new pieces to make it feel like it’s refreshed and new,” said Acorn.
