HAPPENING NOW:
Harvest season brings new releases at Rosewood Estate Winery

It’s harvest season at Rosewood Estate Winery and all the work that has been done over the last 10 months is starting to pay off.
Emily Vukovic toured the vineyard and the barrel room with winemaker Ryan Corrigan. Inside the barrel room she got to sample a single varietal chardonnay, which they haven’t done since 2017, and for the first time ever, they are also releasing a single varietal cabernet sauvignon from a remarkable 2020 vintage.
Rosewood also has their own apiary, and the honey goes towards making mead, and experimenting with flavoured honey. Their newest honey is a natural hot honey that pairs well with anything. And speaking of mead, they are also serving up mulled mead, which is a great taste of fall.
Rosewood Estate Winery is in Lincoln and are open Thursday-Sunday from 11am-5pm for tastings and tours.
