Gordie Howe’s former coach wishes him well on Morning Live

We are all saddened by the news that legendary hockey great Gordie Howe suffered a stroke over the weekend.

What we know now is that his condition is stable and is resting at home in Texas in the care of his daughter.

The man simply known as Mr. Hockey changed the game.

He played in 6 decades with his final pro game in 1997-98 at the age of 69 was he signed with the Detroit Vipers on a one day contract.

The man behind the bench that night was former NHL-er Steve Ludzik was our guest on Morning Live.
