Get the ‘Top Story’ on this Lake of Bays beer

Lesley Stewart visited Lake of Bays Brewing Company in Baysville to see how they brewed their special, limited edition beer.

Top Story Hi-Def Pilsner is a special edition beer in partnership with CHCH-TV that will be available for a limited time.

“It’s an Italian style pilsner, which is a hot style in craft beer right now. It’s a nice light, crisp, refreshing pilsner, but with a little more pronounced hop character just on the nose. We use a technique called dry hopping with this beer, where we add the hops just into the fermenter, and it allows a really nice aroma to come off it without adding bitterness.” explained Darren Smith, President and CEO of Lake of Bay Brewing Company.
