HAPPENING NOW:
Get in the festive spirit in Niagara Falls

Emily Vukovic was in Niagara Falls taking in the fun of the 41st annual Winter Festival of Lights. The free outdoor festival runs until January 7th and showcases millions of lights and large displays across the tourism district. If you want to warm up while taking in the lights, head on the new self-guided hot chocolate trail and try different drinks from 17 of the area’s restaurants and bake shops.
Also on display in Niagara Falls are hundreds of poinsettias at the Niagara Parks’ Annual Poinsettia Show in the Floral Showhouse. Emily got to see the many different colours-from traditional to unique and see the poinsettia tree which is sure to spark holiday cheer.
As Niagara Falls is a tourist destination there are also plenty of places to stay. Emily took a visit to the Hilton Hotel to take in the great view of the Falls and learn what they have going on for the holiday season, including New Year’s Eve.
With so much to see and do, make a stop at Niagara Falls a must do.
