Get ballin’ at the 2nd annual Wentworth District 3 vs 3 basketball tournament

It’s time to get ready for the 2nd annual Wentworth District 3 vs 3 basketball festival and tournament!

Tournament organizer David Finlay joined Tim this morning to discuss the success of last year’s event and to share the details of this year’s tournament.

Growing up, basketball was always an important part of David’s life, keeping him out of trouble when he needed it the most. Inspired by this, and wanting to do more for today’s youth and community, the Wentworth District 3 vs 3 basketball tournament was born.

This year the event is sponsored by Team Nike Canada and will be fundraising for Kidsport Ontario, but they are also looking for business sponsors, who can reach out on Instagram @wd3vs3 or email wentworthdistrict@gmail.com.

The tournament takes place at T.B. McQuesten Park on July 29th and 30th. Registration is open now.
