Events taking place to mark the 79th anniversary of D-Day
June 6th marks 79 years since the historic invasion of Juno Beach in Normandy, known as ‘D-Day’.
We were joined this morning by executive director of the Juno Beach Centre Association, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary, Alex Fitzgerald-Black, who talked about the events taking place in France and Burlington to mark the occasion.
