Drug relieves chemo pain
The Anti-depressant drug “Cymbalta” may help relieve pain associated with chemotherapy.
Some chemo drugs can leave patients with a painful tingling in their hands and feet.
Now, researchers at the University of Michigan find Cymbalta can help relieve that painful side effect in nearly 60% of patients.
Some experts say this kind of treatment is necessary because pain may lead oncologists to limit chemotherapy doses.
