Don’t text and move
The Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association wants you to stop texting while you’re walking.
They say texting while driving is a major no-no, but wants pedestrians to take precautions, too.
The association says people who are walking need to be aware of their surroundings so they don’t run into trouble, like getting hit.
Reports of injuries to distracted walkers treated in emergency departments have more than quadrupled in the past seven years.
