Deal to build new children’s health centre

Hamilton Health Sciences has signed a contract with PCL partnerships for roughly $70 million to build its new children’s health centre.

The contract will cover the costs of designing and constructing the building. The children’s centre will be built on Wellington St N, across from Hamilton’s rehabilitation centre.

It will accommodate about 70,000 visits a year.

Construction starts this spring and is expected to be completed by fall 2015.
