Adoptable Pets: Hamilton/Burlington SPCA
Hamilton/Burlington SPCA joined us this morning with another adoptable pet.
Tilly is a Lovebird that came to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA after her owner passed away. The owner’s family wanted to do what was best for Tilly and brought her to the SPCA because they felt they weren’t bird-savvy enough to take care of her properly.
“Tilly is so friendly and loves to be out of her cage,” said Ashcroft. “[the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA] has a really great history of rehoming birds to fabulous bird-savvy people.”
She says birds are like having a teeny-tiny toddler in your house for their entire life-span. So, owners have to understand what they are getting into when they adopt a bird.
