Police are searching for multiple suspects after a man was attacked and robbed while walking on the street in Hagersville over the weekend.
The victim was reportedly walking on Main St. South at 1 a.m. on Saturday when multiple individuals approached him and began physically assaulting him, hitting him with an unknown object.
Police say the suspects also stole the victim’s cellphone before running from the scene.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have released at least two suspect descriptions at this time.
One suspect is described as an Indigenous man, 20 to 30-years-old, with a large build and a long beard. A second suspect is described as a White man, 20 to 30-years old, with a medium build and a long beard.
