Make a difference in people’s lives by becoming a supportive care worker

First Published:

Supportive care workers are an important part of our health system and more are needed. This morning we were joined by Conestoga College’s supportive care program manager, Beth Davidson with more information on their program.

The program is 18 weeks from Monday-Friday and is three hours a day online. Depending on your availability you can take the Zoom course in the daytime or the evening. After the 18 weeks then you will be placed in the workplace- such as a group home or retirement home.

Enrollment for May is still open. For more information on the program, email supportivecare@conestogac.on.ca.
