Learn all the benefits of cherries at Cherry Lane Farms

First Published:

It is cherry season in Niagara.

Cherry Lane Farms in Vineland has 400 acres of property where they grow cherries, peaches and pears.

Jen Smith, who is tenth generation on the farm, has taken the cherries and turned it into Cherry Lane Concentrated Tart Cherry juice because of all the known health benefits, since they are extremely rich in antioxidants.

On the farm they only grow the Montmorency tart cherry because it has the reddest quality and the perfect amount of sugar content. You cannot pick them at the farm, but you can buy them and the concentrate there.

Steve Ruddick visited the farm where he learned the process of how the cherries are harvested and learned more about their great qualities.
