Homicide detectives investigate after body found near Pier 4

Part of Pier 4 park was shut down Tuesday, after the corpse of a man was discovered near a boat club.

Authorities took to social media just before 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Details remain few at this time, but police say that the body is a male and that its homicide unit has taken over the case.

The adjacent park at Pier 4 was temporarily closed while detectives investigated the scene, but has since reopened.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 905-546-2288.

CHCH News has reached out for more information but has not heard back from Hamilton’s police force at this time.
