Hamilton police are investigating after a hidden camera was found recording in a bathroom at an east-end Tim Hortons.
Const. Indy Bharaj told CHCH News that police responded to the restaurant at 30 Queenston Rd. following a report of voyeurism around 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Bharaj said a person went to the women’s restroom with their child and discovered a cell phone covered with toilet paper on the floor of a stall.
“Police attended and seized the cellphone, which was still recording at the time,” he said.
Bharaj did not confirm how long the phone had been recording.
He did not provide any information on a potential suspect.
