Hamilton police investigate late night shooting near Parkdale and Barton

A woman is in hospital following a late night shooting on Parkdale Avenue in Hamilton.

Officers were called to Parkdale Ave., near Barton St. E, around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the victim is 25 years old and has serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police haven’t given any details about a suspect or what exactly happened.

They say officers will be in the area for much of Thursday for the investigation.
