Hamilton police arrest alleged killer wanted for violating bail conditions

First Published:

Hamilton police have arrested a 23-year-old man who was wanted for allegedly violating his release conditions while on bail in connection with a fatal shooting.

Devante Skye-Davis was charged with manslaughter in relation to the shooting death of 17-year-old Myah Larmond at a house party in July 2020.

Skye-Davis was released on bail and was required to follow strict conditions.

Officers said in a media release on July 13 that Skye-Davis allegedly failed to comply with those conditions.

After nearly two weeks of searching for him, police said Wednesday Skye-Davis has been arrested.
