Halton police have arrested one of two suspects in connection with a shooting Monday inside of a Burlington condo unit.
Officers say two people forced their way into the building near Dundas St. and Sutton Dr. around 9 a.m.
One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, according to police.
An altercation arose after one of the two condo occupants confronted the suspects. While one gunshot was fired, officers say no one was injured.

The two suspects then fled the scene in a red Kia.
Investigators identified one of the suspects and found his vehicle around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
A search warrant was executed at a residence on Whittaker Dr., where police seized cocaine and fentanyl.
Savion Beckford-Salmon, 19, of Burlington has been arrested and charged with a slew of offences, including break and enter, discharging a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl and cocaine.

Beckford-Salmon was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police are working to identify and locate the second suspect who has only been described as a Black man.
