The opening of the Lakeside Park carousel in Port Dalhousie, is a May long weekend tradition that many people look forward to. Unfortunately because of flooding concerns, the antique carousel’s opening is postponed. Hand carved in New York between 1898 and 1905, the heritage piece is a true work of art. Costing only a nickel to ride.
