Police are hoping the public can help identify two women accused of stealing an expensive haul of skin care products in Burlington.

Investigators say the duo entered the Sephora store at Mapleview mall around 3:30 p.m. on July 12.

After a few minutes, the pair made their way to the back corner of the store and placed $1,450 worth of skin care products into shopping bags.

The women continued shopping for a brief moment before leaving the store with the unpaid merchandise.

Police have released two images of the women wanted in connection with the theft.

The first suspect is described by police as white, with blond hair, and was wearing a white tank top, white Crocs-style shoes, and blue denim pants.

The other woman is described as being pregnant, white, and was wearing grey leggings, a black tank top, and black and white runners.

Both women were wearing medical masks.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Halton Regional Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
