Young Hamilton woman hit by car in the early morning

A female pedestrian was struck in the east end of Hamilton this morning.

The 19-year-old girl remains in hospital tonight with several broken bones.

It happened around 2:30 this morning in the area of Main Street and Barnesdale Avenue.

Police say they are still putting the pieces together and are now collecting video from the scene.
