Kathleen Wynne’s revamped cabinet got down to work today at Queen’s Park.
Members of the majority Liberal government filed in, including Dr Eric Hoskins who takes over the health file. With a large aging population he’s expected to be front and centre over the next four years. He spoke about both sides of the government’s health care strategy.
“My activities as a physician in the past have been more on public health promotion, public community medicine side of it. so that perspective as well. wellness. making sure that we’re investing in keeping people healthy. not only making sure that they have access to care when they need it when they get ill.”
Inside the caucus meeting premier Wynne urged her cabinet to focus on the plans ahead and to ignore further dissection of the election. The legislature re-opens July 2nd.
