World’s largest dessert party

Niagara College played host to the world’s largest dessert party this afternoon, and actually broke the Guinness World Record for the number of people eating desserts at the same time.

910 people all ate cookies made by the culinary students. The previous record was set in Massachusetts, when 794 people gathered to eat sweets.

There were 5,000 desserts brought in for guests to sample. All the money raised goes to the Niagara College Many Hands Project.
