World Down Syndrome Day

It was World Down Syndrome Day on Saturday.

The day aims to encourage people across the world to participate in activities and events raising public awareness for the condition while advocating for the rights, inclusion and well-being of people with down syndrome.

According to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society one in 800 babies in Canada is born with the condition.
