Women, 20, struck by HSR bus in Hamilton

A 20-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after she was struck by an HSR bus.

It happened at Wentworth St. and Delaware Ave. at 7:16 a.m. Friday.

The woman was transferred to a local trauma centre by Hamilton paramedics in serious condition. 

The area was closed off for roughly 45 minutes and reopened around 8 a.m.

No other injuries were reported.

The investigation remains open and police ask anyone with additional information to contact them.
