Woman run over by own car

A woman in her early 90s has been taken to hospital after being run over by her own car in a Gage Avenue parking lot.

Witnesses say the woman was lying on the ground when her car ran over her abdomen around 11:15 this morning. Hamilton Police say the woman is conscious, but it’s still unclear how the car ran her over, or what the woman was doing outside the car when it wasn’t in park.
