Woman, 22, wanted for aggravated assault after Brantford bar stabbing

A 22-year-old woman is wanted for aggravated assault following a stabbing that injured another woman in Brantford last weekend.

Brantford police say the stabbing happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday at a bar near Market and Chatham streets.

Investigators say the victim and suspect got into a verbal dispute inside the bar before the assault happened outside.

A woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. She has since been identified as Takia Greene of Ohsweken, Ont., and is wanted for aggravated assault.
