Woman escapes burning car on 403 in Aldershot

It’s smooth sailing on the 403 in Aldershot, after a huge backup earlier this afternoon.

A car engulfed in flames shut down the two right lanes of the 403 westbound just east of Waterdown Rd, but they have since re-opened.

The woman driving the car escaped unharmed.

It’s not known what sparked the blaze. The OPP are investigating.
