Woman charged with sexual assault released on bail

A Hamilton woman facing sexual assault charges has been released on six thousand dollars bail.

There’s a publication ban that covers most of this details in this case; however we can tell you that April Bullock is accused of not telling her partners about her serious medical condition.

The 30 year old Bullock faces five counts of sexual assault.

She was granted bail with several conditions including that she must disclose her condition to potential sexual partners.

She’s also under house arrest except when she leaves to attend counselling sessions with a public health nurse.

Police believe there may be more victims out there and are asking anyone who may have had sexual contact with Bullock since 1997 to contact them.

Bullock will be back in court on August 30th.
