Woman, 30s, found dead outside Hamilton home

A woman in her 30s was pronounced dead after she was found lying outside a home in the Bartonville neighbourhood.

A passerby noticed the woman around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday while walking by the house on Auburn Avenue and immediately notified authorities.

Soon after, emergency services arrived and performed life-saving measures but the woman was ultimately pronounced dead on scene.

At this time, the woman has not been identified and authorities have not released a cause of death.

Police say they’re investigating the matter and are working to identify next-of-kin.
