Wismer Award finalists

The five finalists for the 10th annual Wismer Award for high school coaching excellence were intoduced Tuesday at the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

Mike Smith, a renowned track and field, cross country coach from Highland Secondary; Jackie Brown, Sherwood field hockey coach; Blaize Di Sabatino, coach of the St. Thomas More’s provincial championship girls basketball team; also from St. Thomas More, Peter Luvisa, junior football coach, and from Cardinal Newman, Anthony Macaluso, senior football coach. The winner will be announced on May 28th.
